In 2010 I was invited by some friends to travel to Chile to visit and paint a mural on the side of their so-called Taller Templo or "temple workshop" I was happy to do so. Working conditions weren't ideal; I was constantly under threat of attack by honeybees who had a strong distaste for my black sweatshirt, and the ladder I was using was unnervingly constructed, but I completed this rather speedily. Am I entirely happy with the composition? No, but I do like the blue orb in the upper left corner. I am nevertheless so honored that my friends would allow me to produce such a work for their home in Chile.I hope to paint over it the next time I'm down there.
